With the advancements of digital transformation technologies in smart manufacturing, special attention must be given to the adoption and integration of these technologies with the workers, a topic that is one of the main pillars in the transition to Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0. Such undertakings could be related to consideration of Human Factors in the design and implementation of software solutions, having dedicated Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) interfaces, and developing competency skills and technical knowledge to collaborate with those systems, amongst other topics.
