Zero Defects Driving Success

This session will explore the latest EU research success stories related to zero defects manufacturing applications. It will focus on the critical challenges of achieving zero quality defects within a project, process, or product. A set of presentations will show how waste can be eliminated, defects reduced, and high-quality standards met in an industry 4.0 environment using technologies such as artificial intelligence, cyber-physical systems, or the internet of things. As examples, applications in different sectors will be shown with clear indicators of how they helped to be closer to the zero-defect manufacturing paradigm.
